FAQ
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
ARRIVAL: 104 James Street Sneads Ferry NC 28460 -10 minutes prior is plenty of time to get parked and situated. Park in designated area and walk over to the black pontoon in the water. The Captain will most likely be aboard waiting, or will be there momentarily!
WHAT TO WEAR: We recommend bathing suits,watershoes/sandals, and sunscreen (apply before boarding)! We are on the water...there is a chance of getting wet!
WHAT TO BRING: Food, drinks (alcohol is allowed!) towels, bag for treasures, bucket if clamming.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE TOUR: A luxury pontoon,a knowledgeable,experienced Captain, and a cooler with ice.
WHERE WE GO: There are a number of options for activities, and each trip is tailored to the individuals in your group (if time allows). Shell/shark tooth hunting, cast netting (fish, crabs,etc), clamming, swimming, food to go from Riverview Cafe, or just cruising.
PETS and FISHING: The pontoon is a pet and fish free vessel. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable boat, and preserve the leather seats. We have a 24' Sea Fox (see photos on site) and a 21ft Nautic Star as an option for pets in the intracoastal. We do allow fishing on the Sandbar (provide your own pole, tackle, bait, license,etc).
PAYMENT: A 30% of your trip cost deposit is required to reserve the trip. A deposit is refunded in the event of inclement weather and we cannot reschedule. The weather is unpredictable, and the radar is monitored up to an hour before the trip. The remaining balance is due after the trip at the dock. We appreciate cash to avoid fees, but do accept credit for your convenience. WHO CAN GO: 6 passengers per vessel (from infant to elderly)! We abide by the US Coast Guard rules.. The US Coast Gaurd also requires the crew to be at a max capacity of 1200 lbs. We have the option for more boats (rates are per boat). More than 6? We have other options to get your group on the water. If you would like a group of 12 or less bussed to the island we can accommodate for an additional $50 fuel charge.
