Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where do we go when we get there?
Arrive about 10 minutes prior to your trip. Park in the designated area to the immediate right and walk over to the pontoons in the water. The captain should be onboard or will be there momentarily!
  • When is the best time to see dolphins?
Although we do see dolphins frequently, we cannot predict when or if we will see them.
  • What do we wear?
We recommend bathing suits, water shoes/sandals, and sunscreen (apply before boarding)! We are on the water... there is a chance of getting wet!
  • PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
A 30% deposit is required to reserve the trip. A deposit is refunded in the event of inclement weather (and we cannot reschedule) 7 days notice, or for any reason of the business. The weather is unpredictable, and the radar is monitored up to an hour before the trip. If the radar is showing heavy rain or lightning, we will call the trip. If the radar is showing light rain, we will let you decide. The remaining balance is due after the trip. We appreciate cash to avoid fees, but we do accept credit (plus taxes and fees) for your convenience.
  • What do we need to bring on the pontoon?
Food, drinks (alcohol is allowed!) towels, bag for treasures, and bucket for clamming.
  • What do we need to bring for the fishing charter?
Food, drinks (beer is allowed, but no hard alcohol), water resistant shoes, cooler for catch, and tip for the mate (15-20% customary).
  • What is included in the tour?
A well-maintained boat with a knowledgeable, experienced Captain and USCG approved life jackets.
  • Is the floating mat included?
Please ask to make sure it is available for your trip.
  • Can you pick us up at our dock?
Keeping in mind that the captain's time and fuel are incorporated into the fees, the time starts when we leave our dock.
  • Who can go?
We can take up to 6 passengers per vessel, infant to elderly, within the 1200-pound maximum capacity.
  • Do you have a bathroom?
There are bathrooms at the dock, and nearby restaurants. The pontoons and fishing vessels do not have a toilet. A quick swim is also always an option.
  • Is there a guarantee to catch fish and find shells and sharks teeth?
We have been successful over our several years in business, however everyday cannot be the best day. It's about the experience of the adventure, and what you make of it. We do our best to provide the best experience. It's cheaper to buy the fish from the market or the shells from the gift shop 🤣 We find shells and sharks teeth at all times of the day, although our best luck is during low tide, during the week, and in the morning when foot traffic is less.
